Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a supply chain professional with 5+ years’ experience in CPG companies to manage the design and establishment of the new Loop Supply Chain. This new way to transport, warehouse and distribute products to shoppers will be the engine of a breakthrough innovation on sustainability.

Job Overview:

Loop is the initiative that is bringing together the world’s largest consumer good companies, transportation companies, retailers as well as NGOs to provide durable/refillable packaging as a service to consumers across the world. LOOP will be launching in New York City and Paris after a global announcement taking place at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in January 2019. 

We are looking for a supply chain professional with 5+ years’ experience in CPG companies to manage the design and establishment of the new Loop Supply Chain. This new way to transport, warehouse and distribute products to shoppers will be the engine of a breakthrough innovation on sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have a broad (end-to-end) knowledge of supply chain systems within CPG industries. She/he will be able to define key priorities and find the right resources to bring Loop to life.

This position is based in our London office.

Primary Responsibilities –        

  • Create the physical design, implement, execute and analyze our entire value chain, from procurement all the way to distribution, optimizing cost and cash (inventory planning and control). 
  • Use your knowledge and experience in supply chain practices, and associated industries, to execute logistics studies and provide data and recommendations on the management of current and future supply chain issues.
  • Work with operations, demand planning, sales, and customers to give visibility of logistics cost of complexity and bring up solutions to meet customer needs while simplifying the supply chain and reducing cost.
  • Onboard and manage some third party vendors (sortation, storage and aggregation, and transportation vendors where needed).

Requirements/Skills –

  • Fluent in French and English
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or demand planning field (transportation, warehousing, inventory planning, customer facing supply chain, e-commerce or manufacturing/operations performance) is preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in CPG companies is preferred
  • Understanding of optimization tools and methodologies
  • Ability to independently assess problems and develop action plans for solutions.
  • Ability to adapt and work quickly.

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience

25 Paid Holiday Days

Company Pension contribution up to 3% of salary
