Head of Communication, LOOP EUROPE – French Speaking

We are looking for a resourceful and driven Marketing professional to implement creative communications for this new line of business within TerraCycle. This person will work directly with the Global Marketing team and the burgeoning project team to develop the marketing strategy for Europe and create successful marketing content for our brand partners.

JOB OVERVIEW:

TerraCycle will be announcing an initiative in January 2019 that is bringing together consumer good companies, retailers, transportation companies and more to provide consumers with a new shopping platform that reduces their reliance on disposable packaging. After the announcement in January, the initiative will be launching in the Northeast U.S. and France.

We are looking for a resourceful and driven Marketing professional to implement creative communications for this new line of business within TerraCycle. This person will work directly with the Global Marketing team and the burgeoning project team to develop the marketing strategy for Europe and create successful marketing content for our brand partners.

The ideal candidate will have a broad (end-to-end) knowledge of digital marketing, specifically for startups and e-commerce. S/he will be able to define key priorities and find the right resources to bring this new program to life for January 2019 launch and beyond.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and evaluate marketing initiatives for the LOOP platform and our brand partners.
  • Act as a liaison for graphics, PR, operations and other departments to successfully promote the platform and any campaigns associated with the program.
  • Understand LOOP’s brand relationships and successfully execute sponsored marketing content alongside the account management team.
  • Manage the European LOOP Communications team (Marketing, PR and Customer Service) to execute the global strategy locally.
  • Create a marketing strategy to fuel the growth of the e-commerce platform, attract new customers, and increase the level of engagement.
  • Monitor effective marketing benchmarks and adjust strategy to hit sales and engagement goals.
  • Maintain website appearance and program structure by monitoring informational updates and enforcing consistent content and display standards.
  • Research the latest marketing trends and continue to improve the marketing strategy for the business.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • BA/BS required
  • 3-5 years of active experience in multiple areas of digital marketing, experience with e-commerce platforms preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strong strategic and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
  • Comfortable working as a member of a team as well as pursuing projects independently
  • Thrives in high pressure situations while working through complex projects

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • 25 Paid Holiday Days
  • Company Pension contribution up to 3% of salary
